Yesterday is dead; tomorrow is unborn and today is a gift that’s why it’s called present. Well, it can be said that present is today or the time in which we live in or which occurs to us is known as today.

It’s a human wont that they live in today, but they keep preparing for tomorrow and think about yesterday. The make most of their important decisions of life by keeping yesterday and tomorrow in mind, not today. We know this fact very well that there is a thin thread between life and death, and we are for life or for death in a given time; not for both at once.

But we never admit this reality and have firm belief in tomorrow, and always think that it will definitely come in our lives. We are ready to sacrifice the joys of present for a better tomorrow, but how sad it is that tomorrow never comes and we are in today again and again.

Time has been created, in the form of today, tomorrow and yesterday, only to make us fool. Humans have always been trying to solve the riddle of time, but it’s time that doesn’t allow them to get a suitable answer of this riddle. Today is beautiful and one can at least try to live every moment of it without bothering enough about tomorrow and yesterday.

The word today has been enormously used by lyricists, and similarly this word is often used as an affix with the name of a newspaper or other objects that inform us about the latest happenings.
