What is Scene
For me everything which I can see is a scene, but what lexicographers say about scene lets find out.
The word Scene has been driven from Latin word scaena which had its origin in Greek word Skene that was used for a stage or tent. The underlying idea behind it is something that provides shade.
These days the word scene is being used to describe various things in the field of arts, dramas, viewing and other everyday situations.
In arts the word Scene is used to describe any of the division in an act of play or opera that is found in regular action. It is also used for a short section of a movie or a play or in some other work of literature that tells about some single event for instance the love scene.
The word Scene is also used for a place or a location where some action or event takes place.
Another meaning of this word is a view of an activity, place or picture especially one that is offered in a photograph or a painting.
A set of circumstances of some kind is also known as scene and similarly the characteristic environment in which an activity or pursuit is carried out.
