Airsoft is known as a kind of combat game that has loyal following in many different parts of the world. This game is considered relatively safe and full of fun. Some basic facts about airsoft are as follow.

Japan is known as the origin of this game where airsoft was started during 1970s. The game was developed as an example for combat sports which required little preparation, but the game was capable to entertain its participants for many hours. The sport became popular in many different parts of the world instantly, and today it is played in many areas of North America and Europe.

The enthusiasts of this game often organize clubs that known as meetings and they structure these games according to military lines. But in some meetings of airsoft historical reenactment of some well known battles is specifically made, while in some other meetings choreographed simulations is provided for some bigger community.

Quite similar to paintball, this game is structured in the lines of military units that fight against each other. The guns and rifles which are used in this sport look real and they are employed to shoot little airsoft bullets that harmlessly bounces on the individual. When some player gets some airsoft pellet, s/he is expected to declare they dead and leave the game.

Usually, the game is played in wooded areas and some other places which have lots of opportunities to cover, and use such strategies which allow capturing and eliminating the players of other teams.
